  1. Issues deleting user producer accounts

    I am looking at the list of users for our FNO producer account (i.e. my company) The list is 3 pages long. I need to make it manageable but there are issues.

    1. We have an employee who no longer works for the company. I wanted to delete her account but the system will not let me the specific error message is [Incident# 0741-24957] User 1,460,060 cannot be deleted. This user has state change history records. What can I do about this to delete the account
    2. Most of these users were automatically added to the system at the beginning. They are all email addresses from Flexera.com. I can understand Flexera needing to add 1 or 2 or 3 people to lend support if needed but that many people is just too much. (I wonder how many of them do not even work for Flexera anymore). How may I find out which ones are safe to remove.?

  2. Implications on creating every device in FNO with 'runs license server'

    We currently offer a device to be changed to a license server during the device's lifetime. However in addition to changing the option on the device, it must be newly created inside FNO with the corresponding 'runs license server' flag enabled. However this is a step that we would like to omit if possible, e.g. by registering every device inside FNO as a license server device. This way, when the option is set on the device itself, it will automatically work.

    Our question is ... are there any implications (technical, security, etc.) if we create every device in FNO with this flag enabled?

  3. FNO EMS Operation Failed – java.util.ConcurrentModificationException during License Server Synchronization

    Hello Revenera Team,

    we are encountering the following error during a license server synchronization from one of our customers:

    MessageType="Error message"

    Error="Unexpected exception while generating response"

    ErrorDetail="EMS operation failed: java.lang.RuntimeException: java.util.ConcurrentModificationException."

    We have already checked all server log files under

    /opt/FlexNet-Operations/components/wildfly/standalone/log/

    but could not find any related stack trace or runtime occurrence of the exception.

    Could you please help us understand:

    • What typically causes a
    • ConcurrentModificationException in the EMS layer of FNO?
    • Which component or log should be checked further for more detailed diagnostics?
    • Whether this issue could be linked to concurrent API or synchronization calls from the license server?

    Any guidance or diagnostic steps would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance for your support!

    Kind regards,

    Sowmya Chandrasekaran
