  1. Where can I download the version of flxcore64.dll that goes with FlexNet Embedded Licensing Client v2024.06.0?

    I have updated the client in my .NET application via the nuget package. However, I have found no information and have not found the flxcore64.dll that goes with it. It isn't in the zipfile that I downloaded from the product download site.

    Hi @jeffhuckins​ ,

     

    The FlxCore64.dll is in the nuget package. If you rename the .nupkg to a .zip and extract you will see the FlxCore64.dll in the FlxCore\x64_windows directory.

    I am unable to open the below Flexnet setup URL after installation of Flexnet operations on premises 2025 R1.

    Typically token based licensing refers to a consumptive licensing model where a customer purchases a quantity of tokens and then "spends" the tokens to use features/functions/capabilities within a software application.

  4. Creating a 'demo' Producer Fails Following the Getting Started Guide

    Our parent company is changing, and we need to test swapping out producer identity information in our FNE toolkit artifacts.

     

    However, attempting the "Adding a Publisher and a Publisher Identity", under the Getting started with FNE Setup Exercises: I'm getting the following error:

    We have two publishers already defined in our FNO on-Prem instances, but both need to be superseded in the future.

     

    How does one overcome this issue?

    Anyone else done this before and had success - with existing publisher identities?

    The Publisher Name and keys are linked together and can only be provided by Revenera. Please submit a support ticket for assistance.

  5. How can I fix the link between a CLS and a account in FNO On-prem?

    Hello,

     

    I currently have the problem that the CLS instance and an account got disconnected in my FNO on-prem instance. Meaning the CLS Server Device still got the link to the account it serves, but the account does not contain the backlink to the CLS server.

     

    This has the effect, that every time a line item that has "Auto Provision" set to true is deployed for that customer, a new CLS Server is created.

     

    How can I fix this issue?

  6. FNO EMS Operation Failed – java.util.ConcurrentModificationException during License Server Synchronization

    Hello Revenera Team,

     

    we are encountering the following error during a license server synchronization from one of our customers:

     

    MessageType="Error message" 

    Error="Unexpected exception while generating response" 

    ErrorDetail="EMS operation failed: java.lang.RuntimeException: java.util.ConcurrentModificationException."

     

    We have already checked all server log files under

    /opt/FlexNet-Operations/components/wildfly/standalone/log/

     

    but could not find any related stack trace or runtime occurrence of the exception.

    Could you please help us understand:

    • What typically causes a
    • ConcurrentModificationException in the EMS layer of FNO?
    • Which component or log should be checked further for more detailed diagnostics?
    • Whether this issue could be linked to concurrent API or synchronization calls from the license server?

    Any guidance or diagnostic steps would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance for your support!

  1. Can we restrict or segregate the Admin or Business level users based on there business unit in Flexera LLM. So that they have the visibility to the software belong to their business deptt only.

    We have the end user level segregation for two different business units in the Flexera LLM tools. However we want to restrict the visibility of few business Admin users. So that they can have the visibility over the data belongs to their org or business department.


  2. When I download data from the UI - example - from a search of Product Lines - it creates an .XLS with BOLD Arial 7.5 font. Is there any way to change the default font/size to eliminate having to reformat it and save to an .xlsx ?

  3. Is it possible to automatically deactivate an account if its Entitlement has expired?

    Hello,

     

    My name is Alex (my first post). Our company is looking for an option to automatically deactivate accounts if its Entitlement has expired.

     

    We have a list of accounts that we want to deactivate, and it seems that it can be done in two ways: (1) deactivate everything from the list based on Account ID or (2) create a rule/script somewhere in FNO that will automatically deactivate each account if its Entitlement has expired (every account that is already in the system and all future accounts moving forward once their Entitlement expires).

     

    Option (2) would be the best.

     

    I wonder if such automatic deactivation is possible, and if it is - how to approach it? Please advise.

  4. posted new rule but we don't see it in preview_request API response.

    Recently we posted new rule using API - https://flexXXXX.compliance.flexnetoperations.com/api/1.0/instances/{{cls_instanceId21}}/rules, then we confirmed the feature exists through preview request API: https://{{site}}.compliance.flexnetoperations.{{domain}}/api/1.0/instances/{{cls_instanceId21}}/preview_request, later after couple of days customer complained that they are not able to see any features and to our surprise it was like we didn't add any rules. Not sure why this happened, is there a way we can check the logs ?
