How do you fix and recover from this error? It was working fine until I upgraded to 2010.

I ran into this recently as well. The resolution ended up being running a repair or uninstall/reinstall of InstallShield 2010. I would try this and see if it helps.

CaryI got the same think it was working in InstallShield 2023 but not with 2024, I tried to recompile the object but the issue is still here.
