I work for a very large (Fortune 20) company. We develop solutions in house and use off the shelf software and we always prefer to receive MSI packages.
Thanks a lot for spare your time for me. My intending is to learn best practice of Install script project. The reason behinds that some customers giving importance to UI's. So we need to do customization in UI's. That is the reason I chosen the Installscript Projects. I am not sure i am in right path.
Have you looked at Suite Installers? It's possible that a Basic MSI executed via a Suite Installer might give you the UI you are looking for.
