Install Shield Product Upgrade Correctly Updates Installed Apps; but removes exes from application folder
I am upgrading a project from 1.30.0 to 1.30.01, I have changed the Product Version and Product Code. When I install on a new computer all good. When I install previous version 1.30, and the install 1.30.01, the correct information is added to Installed Apps, but when I look in the Application folder, all files related to the previous version are removed. New txt files are added ok. In the msi log, I can see FeatureUnpublish being logged and this is taking away the application files. I imagine the feature is being removed, there are no changes in features needed. Any help please ?
