Error 1628 on Windows 2000

Hello,

I created installShield MSI project on InstallShiled 2010Premier.

The Setup.exe worked on WindowsXP and Vista but not on Windows 2000 SP4. The following message appears before welcome dialog.

1628 : Failed to Complete Script-Based Installation

Does anyone has experienced the same problem?

Hi Flexera,

my project type is InstallscriptMSI, During the new installation face these problems

I am facing the same issue in Windows 2000 SP4 server,

I came accross this link http://consumerdocs.installshield.com/selfservice/viewContent.do?externalId=Q108464&sliceId=1 but there is no help..

But this error message not displayed when we build in InstallShield12.

please help how to solve this issue..

Were you able to resolve this anytime?

I'm getting Error 1628 on Windows 2K.

My project is InstallScript MSI, build on IS 2010 SP1.
