isnetfx.exe error message
Hello,

One of our customers is running an install package on their computer and they get this error message.

"The image file c:\temp\{FEA0DAE9-E985-495A-8A17-AD94FCCA7D0A}\isnetfx.exe is valid, but is for a machine type other than the current machine."

What does this message mean?

What does isnetfx.exe do?

Who makes isnetfx.exe - is it Acresso?

Thanks in advance,

It is a helper exe from Acresso used to install .NET per the settings you have chosen. Normally this message could mean the file was a 64-bit executable being launched on a 32-bit machine, but that is not the case for this file. Guessing by the location, it looks like it is being downloaded. Thus I would suspect a chance of a download corruption. If trying again doesn't fix it, as a workaround you could have your customer pre-install the version of .NET you are trying to install.
