Error 1628: Failed to complete installation on Server 2016 tech preview

Hi,

So I'm trying to run my installer on Server 2016 tech preview 2 and I got this 'Error 1628: Failed to complete installation" message.

This install works on previous version of Windows Server (2012) so there was no problem with the build.

I tried the suggestions on this help page

but didn't get anywhere.

I attached a debug log the records the error events. Could someone please provide some suggestions on how to resolve this? Thanks a lot.

The problem is gone in Tech Preview 3...I guess this WAS an issue in the OS and Microsoft team fixed it.
