By default windows will detect any earlier version is installed or not as per your project configurations, say if you have version1 is already installer in version2 is released, you need to decide both Version1 and version2 should co exists or it should uninstall and then install new version,
If you want to uninstall and then install new version you need to configure a major upgrade settings in your installer.
If you want both version 1 and version2 co exists in the same machine then you should configure your installdir path to new one, say version1 is installed in path C:\Test\Project\2025, Now in version2 you should configure path like C:\Test\Project\2026, Hence version 1 should launch from 2025 files and Version 2 should launch from 2026 path.
